About
I have spent the last ten years cultivating a career in the information services field. My work has taken me across the country–expanding my knowledge base and giving me valuable insight into the industry.

My professional roles have included:
- Researcher
- Writer
- Consultant
- Educator
- Librarian
I regularly attend–and teach–workshops and webinars on topics related to information services. In August 2014, I earned a social media certification through Hootsuite. Staying on top of new technologies and emerging trends is a top priority.
I’m a graduate of Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, where I studied Psychology and History. I hold a master’s degree in Library & Information Science from Simmons College in Boston. During my academic career, I was inducted into the Psi Chi, Phi Alpha Theta, Delta Epsilon Sigma, and Beta Phi Mu honor societies.
As a proud member of the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP), I am connected to information entrepreneurs from around the globe. The professional network, training, and support I have received through this organization have been a tremendous asset to my career. I’ve also had the privilege to serve as Public Relations Chair (2010-2013) and Webinar Committee Chair (2012-2013) for AIIP.

Outside of work, I am a busy wife and mother. My family loves trips to the library, preparing healthy home-cooked meals, and taking long walks through our quaint Massachusetts neighborhood. Wearing the “mompreneur” hat makes the goal of work-life balance even more essential. It’s something I strive for each and every day.
